Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.

WE BELIEVE that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the Work of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE in GOD THE FATHER, an Infinite, personal, Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He Saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, Ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth.

WE BELIEVE in the HOLY SPIRIT, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the gifts of the Spirit.

WE BELIEVE that all PEOPLE are sinners by choice and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit and power for service.

WE BELIEVE in the universal CHURCH, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ORDINANCES to the Church: 1) Baptism, and 2) The Lord’s Supper. We believe in baptism by immersion and communion open to all believers.

WE BELIEVE also in the LAYING ON OF HANDS, for ordination of pastors, elders, and deacons. We believe also in anointing the sick with oil.

WE BELIEVE in the personal, visible RETURN OF CHRIST to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and endless suffering of the wicked.

WE BELIEVE in what is termed the Apostles Creed as embodying fundamental facts of Christian faith.

Who we are at MKI Group Travel:

MKI Group Travel is a missionary travel agency.  Mike Snyder is the President of MKI Group Travel and there are currently more than 5 agents who work within the company.  We have a mission to work together to provide Missionary Airfare, Humanitarian Airfare, Adoption Travel, Short Term Missions Travel, and Group Airfare for those who are taking missions trips across the world.  We provide quality, affordable, and personalized services to our customers.  Our hearts are compelled by our love for the LORD each day as we serve missionaries from across the world with their travel and prayer needs.  It is an honor to be part of such an amazing group of believers who truly desire to serve the Body of Christ with missionary travel.  Our President at MKI has a heart to serve adoptive families as he is the father of an adopted son from China.  He has served with Campus Crusade for Christ and has been working in missions for over 15 years.  Tabitha is an International Travel Specialist with MKI Group Travel.

It is an honor for us to be a part of such a wonderful organization.  Working with MKI is more than a job, it is a complete ministry and JOY which we are thoroughly passionate about.  All of our travel services are provided through MKI Group Travel, which is a bonafide travel agency. 

Tabitha's Salvation Testimony: 

I grew up in a pastor's home.  My father was a pastor during my adolescent years.  It was not until I was 22 years old that I believe I was truly born again.  I knew all of the Bible memory verses I had learned in Sunday School, but my heart had not yet been transformed.  It was when I began to see myself as a sinner and repent from my sins and forsake them, that the Lord had mercy upon me and I became born again.  Jesus Christ is now my everything!  There was such a dramatic transformation in my heart that happened when I was saved.  All things became new for me.  It is now my heart to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  I believe that the mission field is not far away.  In fact, my husband made a beautiful metal sign above our front door which I see every time I exit the house to go outside.  It says, "Now Entering the Mission Field.  Mark 16:15."  This is a daily reminder for us that we are missionaries far and near to all who will hear the life changing message of the gospel! 

Kevin's Salvation Testimony: 

I was born into a Catholic family and was baptized as a baby in the Catholic church.  I went through catechism and participated in the Mass every week, but I didn't know the Lord and His Word had no place in my heart.  The empty traditions of men had no power to change my wicked heart.  When I was sixteen, I left my family and the Catholic church, and began to live a life of total rebellion.  The empty traditions of men lacked the power to transform my desperately wicked heart.  Around this time, as I was diving deep into sin, my mom gave her life to the Lord Jesus and was truly saved  through the faithful witness of my Aunt Kathy.  My mom gave me a Bible and began to pray fervently for my salvation.  It wasn't until six years later that I finally opened this Bible and began to read it for myself.  It was like looking in a mirror for the first time.  The Lord was helping me to see myself in truth!  I read a verse in Proverbs chapter fourteen which says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of that way is the way of death." For the first time in my life, I began to fear God!  I didn't want to go to Hell!  

Another passage that brought a healthy fear of God to my heart was in Matthew chapter seven, which says that many are going to cry out, "Lord, Lord," on the day of judgment and Jesus will declare to them, "I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS!"  I knew that if I were to die that day, Jesus would say this to me because I was one who had practiced lawlessness!  It was around this time that I saw Pastor Chuck Smith, from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, teaching the Word of God on television.  I began to watch his program every day, and on September 25th, 1994, I repented of my sins and put my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!  He saved me and made me a brand new creation!  Praise God for my mother who was praying for me all of those years! 

The Lord has been faithful and true to His word in my life.  He says, "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."  Since He saved me, the greatest desire of my heart has been to preach the gospel and tell others about the One who has loved me and washed me in His own blood.  I know that Jesus became the King of my heart because He totally changed the desires of my heart.  Another desire of my heart was to have a true Christian wife who loves and fears the Lord.  He has given me the wife of my desires, Tabitha, and now we have the privilege and joy of serving Him together in helping missionaries go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 

Missions Testimony: 

In January of 2008, I had the privilege of going to Uganda, Africa to work in an AIDS Clinic as a nurse.  It was such a blessing for me to be able to use my nursing skills to serve the people of Uganda.  It was on this trip that I began to have a broken heart for the lost in other parts of the world.  The Lord has used this trip in my life in SO many ways.  I encourage others now to take that first step of faith in going out on a short term missions trip.  Your life will never be the same!

I was able to see how other people live in a third world country.  My heart was filled with an incredible longing to serve these people.  In fact, I was preparing to live my entire life in Uganda as a missionary before the Lord brought my husband into my life.  It was then that the Lord opened up yet another door for us to serve missionaries by providing them with missionary and humanitarian airfare and working with them to plan their own trips.  We are so incredibly amazed at how the Lord has been leading us in the minsitry of working with MKI Group Travel. 

I have been working as an International Travel Specialist with MKI Group Travel since 2009.  We have been able to serve teams to India, Uganda, Kenya, Peru, Turkey, Asia, and the UK.  This is such an incredible privilege to be able to serve missionaries in this way! 

Kevin and I have a prayer map in our home and we pray for each team that the Lord allows us to send.  We hope to be able to start speaking in churches and sharing about the services we offer with MKI Group Travel.  Let's add your trip to our prayer map!

Marriage Testimony: 

The Lord brought my husband and I together through our mutual love for Him and our heart to share the gospel together.  We met on an evangelism team, where we began serving the Lord in sharing our faith with others.  Our friendship grew over our four years of ministering together as brother and sister in Christ.  We were such great friends that neither of us knew that the Lord was drawing our hearts together through serving Him and we would one day be One in Christ.  The Lord has produced much fruit in our marriage including our two beautiful daughters, Charissa and Faith.  We are blessed to be able to homeschool them in the ways of the Lord and work together in His harvest field everyday. We pray that as our children grow up, they will all follow the Lord and desire to be His missionaries too!
